Public Notice

Update: LRAPA issued a corrected notice for the proposed Title 43 rules on October 9, 2026, with complete and updated documents. A new public hearing is planned for November 12, 2026, at 12:15 p.m. Written comments are still being accepted, and the corrected notice sets a new deadline. Comments already submitted remain part of the record.

The Lane Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA) and DEQ invite public input on proposed updates to LRAPA Title 43 Asbestos Requirements Rules. These updates include permanent rule amendments to LRAPA Rules and Regulations.

LRAPA will only consider comments on the proposed rules that are received in writing by November 19th, 2026 at 5:00pm, along with oral comments made at the public hearing.
