Cleaner Air Oregon (CAO) is a health-based permitting program that regulates emissions of toxic air contaminants from facilities based on risk to nearby communities. CAO requires facilities to report toxic air contaminant emissions, assess potential health risks to people nearby and reduce toxic air contaminant risk if it exceeds legal limits.

As part of the Cleaner Air Oregon process, each facility has a dedicated web page to provide communities access to facility information and updates on where it is involved in the process.

FACILITY

A & K Development Company specializes in designing and manufacturing equipment for the pre-cleaner, graders and conveyors. Parts made include vibratory conveyor, chopper, cutter, husker, orienter, roll scalper, feed shaker, cob saw, big bin, pre-cleaner, nubbin eliminator, roll washer and short piece grader.

Pacific Metal Fab specializes in creating custom metal products, catering to various industries and individual needs and is the primary manufacturer of parts used in the assembly of A&K equipment and A&K replacement parts.

The facility includes metal cutting operations (plasma and laser cutters), manual and robotic welding, metal forming, metal stamping, CNC and Manual Machining, powder coating operations, metal painting operations, engineering and design, as well as assembly and shipping. The operation also includes a Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR) forming press process used primarily in A&K products.
